Our Mission

Valley CDC seeks to empower low and moderate income people and minorities to control and improve the quality of their lives. We accomplish this through the development of affordable housing, providing economic opportunities and encouraging community leadership.

Valley CDC currently focuses on three areas of community economic development:

Parsons Village, Easthampton: Applications are now being accepted for these newly constructed affordable rental apartments. Nestled at the base of Mount Tom, there are 38 units available comprised of studio, one-bedroom, two-bedroom, and three-bedroom townhouse-style apartments.

Valley CDC is selling an affordable 6-room condiminium. The home will be sold to an income-eligible first time homebuyer. Community Investment Tax Credit (CITC) - this new program provides a 50% state tax credit for donations to qualified CDCs. It's designed to leverage private contributions in order to support a broad array of community development efforts as determined by the local community.
