Valley Community Development seeks to empower low and moderate income people and the underserved populations manage and improve the quality of their lives. We accomplish this through the development of affordable housing, providing economic opportunities and encouraging community leadership.

Valley Community Development will be celebrating its 30th Anniversary on April 12th. The Gala event will feature Charles M. Blow, a New York Times Op-Ed columnist, who writes about social justice, public opinion, and politics. Mr. Blow is also the author of his 2014 memoir Fire Shut Up In My Bones. Related

Community Investment Tax Credit (CITC) Program Valley Community Development has the opportunity to raise $400,000 during its 30th Anniversary year through CITC where donations of at least $1,000 receive a 50% Massachusetts tax credit; the credit is also a refundable credit.
